I've always enjoyed reading other people's writings and figured it was time to start writing my own. This blog is a place to share my thoughts on engineering, leadership and building products.
Why I'm writing?
By no means am I a natural writer, but writing helps me think more clearly and articulate my thoughts better. Moreover, it's a great way to share my thoughts with others and get feedback. I'm also using this blog to test out ideas that I've had in my head for some time.
For example, I've been pondering what the best way to disclose to your audience that you've used AI to help you write your content is. On each blog post, you'll see a small AI Usage label you can click to view the details. Clicking that button will showcase a percentage (albeit manually inputted by me) that represents the approximate AI contribution to the content. It's akin to a nutrition label on a food product.
Naturally, AI was used to generate the nutritional label design and layout. The contents, however, are written mainly by me, except for grammar and punctuation corrections alongside some auto-generated suggestions.
Of course, these are all approximations for the time being. In the future, I'm hoping to cross-correlate my AI usage with my actual writing to get a more accurate picture.
